Attorney Randall Sousa utilizes his passion, charisma, and wide-ranging, diverse business and negotiation experience to achieve the best results for his clients. Randall holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami and Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. Upon graduating from the University of Miami in 1995, Randall moved to Washington, D.C. to accept a position at the internationally renowned law firm Debevoise & Plimpton. At Debevoise, Randall’s work was primarily focused on civil discovery, and it was during this time when he began to learn the highly technical and complicated nuances of the legal discovery process. Randall’s last assignment at Debevoise was ultimately his most daunting: Providing case-specific discovery support during the Department of Justice’s 1996 Campaign Finance investigation of the Democratic National Committee. This investigation ultimately spawned one the most comprehensive intergovernmental discovery disputes of the decade. Randall played a crucial role in identifying and locating relevant and responsive information which ultimately exonerated the DNC of any wrongdoing.

Randall SousaRandall’s work with Debevoise was so well-received, that in 1997, the DNC actually hired Randall to assist in the implementation of a strategic compliance algorithm which allowed for more efficient tracking of campaign finance contributions. After 4 years with the DNC, Randall transitioned out of politics and into the entertainment industry when he accepted a position at S.E.R. International Talent Agency in Miami, Florida. While at S.E.R., Randall served as a personal manager and business consultant to a number of Grammy Award-winning Latin musicians. In his capacity as a manager, Randall negotiated major record deals; coordinated concerts, live performances, and album releases; while also handling public relations and crises management.

In 2008, Randall left the entertainment industry to pursue his law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. During his time in Law School, Randall worked at the Miami-Dade State’s Attorney Office and later served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Leon Fritel of Florida’s Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court. Subsequent to receiving his law degree, Randall drew upon his professional relationships and media experience to provide crisis management and public relations consultancy services to clients involved in high-profile lawsuits. Ultimately, Randall eventually found himself negotiating the terms of a labor relations deal with a major professional sports league during its high profile investigation into the use of performance enhancing drugs by a number of professional athletes.

Randall utilizes his different business and legal experiences to help provide clients with not just exceptional legal advice, but exceptional customer service as well. Our goal is to help find our clients the quickest and best way out of their problems. The biggest impediment to the resolution of disputes – whether it be with a business partner, your spouse or ex-spouse, or even the prosecutor in a criminal case – is that the other side is unwilling to listen. But Randall’s personality and warmth makes him likable, and because people like him, they are willing to listen to what he has to say, and when he gets a person’s ear, he is extremely skilled at getting them to understand the importance and merits of his client’s goals.

Sometimes, however, people aren’t willing to listen, and when that happens, Randall’s intelligence, aggression, and knowledge of the law will make the other side to listen. Whether it be through Randy’s voice or the voice of a jury entering a verdict against them, the other side will eventually listen. At the Law Offices of Randall Sousa, our view is that we prefer to handle things peacefully and quickly, but if its a fight they want, then its a fight they’ll get. Whatever your legal problem or issue may be, call us and we will be able to offer you an answer. 571-354-6164
